Both good points.
I guess having not ridden the Cub for hmm 30 plus years and got used to twin discs, ABS blah blah and thus the cable operated drum exercised my right hand! I wondered if the C90 set up (thinking it has a disc) might keep the character but provide better stopping power?
The electrics are a difficult one. I will be rebuilding the bike over the winter and restoring it back to its ( I hope based on the red paint on the inner frame) its original colour I would re wire at the same time.
